A statewide network of committed cancer care organizations and individuals under Cancer Volunteers Odisha (CVO)

Who Should Apply?

Organizations

  • Registered, not-for-profit entities working in Odisha’s cancer care ecosystem
  • Actively involved in patient support, caregiver services, counselling, awareness, advocacy, training, or community programs
  • Committed to promoting volunteerism and collaborative action in cancer care
  • Operating for 2+ years (newer organizations may be considered case-by-case)
  • Organizations (Govt./Public Enterprise/Private), companies, or philanthropic trusts supporting cancer volunteerism

Individuals

  • Volunteers involved in patient support, counselling, caregiving, awareness, survivorship, or community outreach
  • Health professionals—oncologists, nurses, psychologists, palliative-care workers, social workers, rehabilitation specialists— engaged in volunteer service
  • Individuals with 1+ year of volunteer work and alignment with CVO values: compassion, dignity, teamwork, community engagement
  • People with relevant skills in psychosocial support, patient navigation, training, public education, community mobilization, research, or non-commercial fundraising
  • Professionals in health policy, finance, governance, HR, IT, social science, or civil society willing to collaborate with NGOs
